Meetup of September 2024, 19th, Paris Montparnasse

Our association Expressions de France launched its debating society on Thursday September 19th, 2024.

The debating society provide our members a warm and relaxed environment, where they can:
– attend masterclasses to improve their public speaking abilities ;
– debate and learn a lot on various topics : French and international news, societal issues, economics, entrepreneurship, etc.
– join debate tournaments or friendly matches with other debating societies.

For this first edition, attendants were given the opportunity to discover or rediscover fundamentals of public speaking (silences, gaze, voice, etc.), taught by our trainer Tom, with immediate application.

The topic « Equal opportunities: dream or reality? » served as a common thread for the masterclass.

The discussions continued over a drink, thus completing a meetup rich in lessons and emotions. We are looking forward to the next meeting.
