March 2024 Mentoring meetup
Learning how to introduce oneself memorably, connecting people, asking for contacts, returning favors… Through some explanations and a lot of hands-on practice, young people discover the basic rules of networking, and their elders rediscover them.
As part of its mentoring program, Expressions de France organized a masterclass about the art of networking on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Paris Montparnasse. Through interactive workshops, attendants had the opportunity to learn (again) how to build, nurture and expand their network, mastering the art of « having a long arm » (in french : « avoir le bras long » = having plenty of contacts)
The professional attendants shared their experience with the younger ones, aiming to help them understand what a network is and how to use it effectively, to reach their academic and professional endeavors. »
A cocktail rounded off this industrious afternoon, allowing the continuation of friendly exchanges, with, of course, the immediate application of networking rules. 😉
